It is under stood that the operation of Muirkirk Clinic, which is presently through the Loudon Medical Practice, will be changing in the near future to be operated by the Tanyard Medical Practice in Cumnock.
Details of when this change will take place are not yet public but are expected sometime after the retiral of Doctor Rait in September.
It is understood that surgeries will continue to be held in the mornings and afternoons and that when a doctor is not available a senior nurse will be in charge.
